Your Life” is our ‘harvest’ of insightful information for living a principled, high quality life. Dr. Barbara provides everyday examples of attitudes, actions, and beliefs for our conscious attention and offers multiple exercises to help us better understand who we are. Feelings are explored in depth and one significant result of its exploration is that we can easily see how the simple acknowledgement of feelings can assist our progress toward different thoughts about those feelings and ourselves.
Rev. Dr. Barbara King is Founder, Minister, and World Spiritual Leader of Hillside International Truth Chapel and Center in Atlanta, GA. Dr. King is a trail blazer and History Maker with many accomplishments to her credit. In my learning about Universal laws and principles, my personal feelings about Dr. Barbara are inclusive of my admiration and praise for her as one of the ‘Great Mothers’.
Some of my initial thoughts after reading Dr. Barbara’s book were, ‘what a powerful woman this is.’ While sharing just a bit of my new found understanding with my Life Coach, she asked me to invite Dr. Barbara on the Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call. My first reaction was fear. I said to myself, ‘she doesn’t know me personally, she’s too busy and important to want to come on my call, and what if she says no.’ My Coach challenged me to move beyond my personal fears and call the woman. If I were genuinely affected by what I was reading, I should at least be convinced that she would receive such a request in graciousness.
I made the call and her “Yes” makes her Cider Enterprises Book Club’s November 2014 author. This is a conference call you do not want to miss! The King always has great news and with “Transform Your Life,” we can ‘rejoice in the harvest’ that the King has made available for the kingdom. This is our season.
