A Three-Part Celebration: The Life and Legacy of Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon
February is a month of great celebration for me primarily because of my born day on Feb. 11th. Yes, it’s My Birthday month! In addition, I will also be engaging in “A Three-Part Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon,” my beloved Spiritual Mother and one of the greatest ‘over-comers’ I’ve ever had the opportunity to personally learn and grow from. The Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call will be concluding this three-part celebration with a discussion about Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon’s thought-transformation series “It Works If You Work It.” Rev. Coleman’s five-part study contains simple, yet powerful affirmations; and more importantly, she shares her beliefs about these affirmations. In retrospection, I find it even more amazing to note the alignment of her study with Universal Truths. Join us in part three of the celebration on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at 7 pm CST, by calling 218-339-9469, access code 20112#.

MARCH: Celebrating Women of Strength with Rev. Valerie Love
March is National Women’s Month and features many tributes, accolades and stories of Women of Strength. Cider Enterprises Book Club joins the celebration of great women with the March 19th Conference Call, featuring Rev. Valerie Love. Rev. Valerie is an Intuitive Advisor, Inspirational Speaker, Author of 11 books on practical spirituality and the founding minister of Boost Worldwide Love, a community in the New Thought/Ancient Wisdom tradition.
Having heard numerous testimonies from quite a few people within my circle of business and personal friends, I knew I would have to have Rev. Love on the call eventually. Then news came through the ‘true vine’ that she will be moving to Bali, Indonesia real soon! That news put some fire and urgency under my intentions, and now I’m proud to say that Rev. Val will be on the Thursday, March 19, 2015 Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call at 7 p.m. CST/ 8 p.m. EST.

Dr. Barbara King: The King is coming to transform your life!
Join Rev. Dr. Barbara L. King and me on the Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call, as we discuss her book– “Transform Your Life.” Due to the King’s schedule, we will host our LIVE phone conversation on MONDAY, Nov. 10, 2014 at 7 PM (CST). The call will be REPLAYED on the Book Club’s regularly scheduled day and time on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at 7 PM (CST). Our call-in number is 567-314-9503, access code 20112#.
“Transform Your Life” is our ‘harvest’ of insightful information for living a principled, high quality life. Dr. Barbara provides everyday examples of attitudes, actions, and beliefs for our conscious attention and offers multiple exercises to help us better understand who we are. Feelings are explored in depth and one significant result of its exploration is that we can easily see how the simple acknowledgement of feelings can assist our progress toward different thoughts about those feelings and ourselves.

An Expression of Gratitude for Author Ernest Abdullah’s Insightful Contributions
Is there ever too much gratitude? For me, there can never, never, ever be “too much” gratitude. The feeling of successful accomplishment, as endorphins flowed through my brain and gave me an overall state of peace and tranquility, is truly a presence to be sought. My October interview with author Ernest Basim Abdullah on the Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call was one of those perfect peaceful accomplished moments in time. “The Game of Life and How To Play It” was so orderly and eloquently discussed by Ernest that I am still receiving compliments and comments about the insights he contributed to the call. THANK YOU Ernest Abdullah!

Welcome Rev. Dr. Sheila McKeithen: The Newly Elected UFBL President

Rev. Dr. Sheila McKeithen, newly elected President of the Universal Foundation For Better Living (UFBL), conducted a Prosperity Series Seminar that personified why she is the ‘elected one’. She ‘turned up’ the realization that we are one with the Universe and life is “rigged in our favor” in order that we experience the good that God has for us.
On “Sweetest Day” in Chicago, Sheila (as she asked to be called) filled the Faith Chapel at Christ Universal Temple. She was delectable! We were eager to hear the voice and message of this youngest President of the Foundation to date and waited excitedly to greet her before the session began. I felt her authentic, energetic and purpose-filled vibrations of confidence and sincerity as she welcomed us. (You can read her extended story in The October/November issue of “Daily Inspiration for Better Living,” a publication of the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc.).

Lucy Bass Givens: My angel has gone on to her next assignment!
I know, everything must change and I am growing less resistant to these facts and relying more and more on what I feel in my heart. This is the place where I can hold on to the eternal. My Sistah-friend, Lucy Bass Givens, has been my Angel for well over twenty years and she made the decision on September 30, 2014 to move on. Her transition from loving and supporting me here on this earth has taken on ethereal proportions and propensities. I shall always feel her presence with me.

How to Play The Game of Life – written by Ernest Basim Abdullah
Fall is officially here and my featured author for October 16, 2014 is Mr. Ernest Basim Abdullah. His book “The Game of Life and How to Play It” will have me cozying up to some powerful lessons during this time. Ernest wrote his book more than 20 years ago, sent a copy to his sister in another city and forgot about it. As a repatriate of hurricane Katrina, Ernest left New Orleans with only his self. In working through the process of re-inventing his life, Ernest assessed the intangibles within himself to create his new life. He remembered he had already written the guide he needed. His sister had her copy so he revived it and published it earlier this year. To purchase book, click on book title above or photo of book below.
