A Three-Part Celebration: The Life and Legacy of Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon
February is a month of great celebration for me primarily because of my born day on Feb. 11th. Yes, it’s My Birthday month! In addition, I will also be engaging in “A Three-Part Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon,” my beloved Spiritual Mother and one of the greatest ‘over-comers’ I’ve ever had the opportunity to personally learn and grow from. Science Fiction: Gaining a New Perspective with Author William Griggs
I ordinarily do not read science fiction. My youngest brother’s preference for such books and his different responses to ‘normal’ situations clouded my viewpoint over the years. I saw science fiction as “way-out, crazy stuff” until I met Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call’s next featured author. William M. Griggs, author of “The Megalight Connection,” has changed my entire perspective on science fiction and the value it has in teaching from a different paradigm.

Life is Working in My Favor In Spite of Unexpected Obstacles
Life is working in my favor in spite of unexpected obstacles, like in the case of the Authors Appreciation Celebration that was originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015. The Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call had planned to ‘Celebrate Authors’ who have been showcased during our past three seasons. But, even the best laid plans and efforts can sometimes be unexpectedly derailed because although the event permit was issued and the promotion was in full swing, the City of Chicago decided it was a great time to lay big industrial water pipes in the area. Needless to say, as a participant of the 27th Annual Dauphin Avenue Civic Organization’s Block Club Event, the inconvenience of maneuvering the streets amidst the dust and pipe work, effectively canceled our outdoor event. I extend my heartfelt apologies to all who had planned to attend. However, be aware that I am already planning the 2016 celebration.

Featured Guest Identifies Herself as a Christian Witch During Our Book Club Call
The Cider Enterprises Book Club Conference Call featuring Rev. Valerie Love was too hot to handle after she un-apologetically and unabashedly identified herself as a Christian Witch. Her statement left me speechless for a moment and had me pacing the floor of my home in quick time! Questions raced through my brain … What was I thinking featuring a Witch? What would my callers say?
In doing my research on Rev. Valerie, I had chose to ignore this ‘Magikal’ information she provided on her social media sites. I assumed that since she had so many other things she did “on the regular,” any call inquiries would be satisfied with the ‘traditional’ aspects of her work. After all, as a seasoned woman of many uplifting practices, products, thoughts and events, I knew Rev. Valerie had enough ‘good stuff’ to demonstrate being an “overcomer.” And based on the reports I had received from the many people I follow, I also knew she was able to tell her stories with love and enlightenment.

Cider Enterprises Book Club joins the celebration of great women with the March 19th Conference Call, featuring Rev. Valerie Love. Rev. Valerie is an Intuitive Advisor, Inspirational Speaker, Author of 11 books on practical spirituality and the founding minister of Boost Worldwide Love, a community in the New Thought/Ancient Wisdom tradition.
Having heard numerous testimonies from quite a few people within my circle of business and personal friends, I knew I would have to have Rev. Love on the call eventually. Then news came through the ‘true vine’ that she will be moving to Bali, Indonesia real soon! That news put some fire and urgency under my intentions, and now I’m proud to say that Rev.
